A young home owner gets hit hard by the economic crisis – banks slow to help!

 

Episode 1 is based on a Short Sale/Foreclosure deal for a client named Jenny. She is a young buyer who had invested everything into her home. Living by her self, it was tough to keep dumping money into her home every month but she continued to get by.


All of a sudden, the market crashed.


Now she tries to recover and calls on Adam Roop of EXIT SHORE REALTY to help relieve her of the heavy debt. With Adam’s experience in short sales and foreclosure properties he was called upon to help but the banks are not cooperating as fast as Adam wants. Foreclosure is only weeks away...Can he save Jenny from foreclosure?

EPISODE 2 features client Jen, who wants to sell her home and move to Delaware.  She has a great house in a desirable location in Salisbury. 


Like all home owners, she has decorated and staged her home to her particular taste over the years.  Now, since listing her home on the market for sale, some new buyers are not finding Jen’s taste to match their expectations.


EXIT SHORE REALTY is called in to Jen’s rescue and begins offering feedback to help stage her home to meet these buyer’s needs.  We walk a fine line during our initial meeting with Jen as we critique her home.  Will Jen listen to the feedback and do the things necessary to turn her home around?

It’s a race against time.  Adam only has so much time and little help to pull of a very important promotional event at a Wedding Expo Show at he Fountains!  Adam and his team are notorious for event planning and charity work in the community.


In this episode, the team plans to re-invent a charity event they threw at a 2008 wedding expo to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness in Salisbury, MD.  It’s a daring move that exposes Adam and his team in front of many brides to be. In 2008, the event was a hit and the talk of the town,will the 2009 event be a slam dunk?  Will the team attract the real estate buyers they are looking for?  Or will it be a BRIDEZILLA experience? 

Like many other real estate consumers, investors, and builders who invested in the height of the market, EXIT Shore Realty agent Christian Tapia has been forced to make tough decisions this year.  Having built a custom home in one of Salisbury, MD most prestigious neighborhoods, Christian paid top dollar for the lot and built a home which included all the bells and whistles. 


Over 300 people have entered this home to admire its true beauty but due to lack of buyers and a contributing economic crisis, a buyer was never found.


Having reduced the price multiple times, Christian goes for one last ditch effort to sell this home before facing a decision he doesn’t want to make.  Christian goes through an aggressive marketing campaign and a “take matters into his own hands” approach to get this home sold at a major price reduction.  Will Christians big marketing campaign lure in the serious buyer he’s been hoping for?

Several years ago, Crisfield was poised to grow and develop into an Eastern Shore Attraction, which caused an abundance of development without support from the economy.


Real estate sales are scares and locals are forced to find work out of town. As homes sit on the market, Angie moves forward and helps her buyers find the best deals.


The couple in this episode have the goal of finding a home that best matches their needs for less than $100,000. Will they find “THE” house?
